Principal's Message

Welcome to Northmead High School!

Northmead has a fine tradition in performing and creative arts and academic achievement. It is this success that will drive our future directions and challenges. The teaching and administrative staff are keen to build on our past successes and meet the challenges of the 21st century. Good relationships are imperative in teaching and learning.

Quality teaching and learning is the focus of NSW schools. I believe that self evaluation is necessary to achieve quality and our personal best. Quality is not an accident; it is the result of high, focused and clear intention. It is a journey that is never complete. Quality is not an end point, it is the journey we embark on to achieve continuous improvement.  

I am keen to meet parents and prospective parents.

The Parents and Citizens Association meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm. I would very much like you to have the opportunity to meet and talk with me and other parents within the school. Alternatively, I am more than happy to show you our school and outstanding students.
